There were also many flying cars, all with unique and futuristic shapes. People in this time did not talk much to one another; they seemed very busy with their lives. I visited a hospital and discovered that babies could be born without being inside a mother’s belly. They called this the “non-belly generation.” The people seemed almost like robots themselves—if you spoke with them, they could tell immediately that you were not from their time. In their homes, everything was voice-activated. They would simply say a command, and the online services would respond. Robots cooked meals and did household chores. Instead of phones like we have today, they wore a device on their wrist like a watch. They would press a button, and a screen would appear in the air for them to use. When they were done, they just turned it off. If someone called, the screen would automatically appear in front of them, and they could have a clear video conversation. At the university, students did not use books or notebooks. They recorded entire lectures on their wrist devices. When a person died, they were not buried. Instead, the body was placed in a machine and turned into ash. The cars were also very different. They could be opened with a voice command and were completely self-driving. .
